Actor Rana Daggubati New Flick Ghazi is released today. Ghazi has become the talk of the town as it is the first underwater war drama that has been made on Telugu screen. The Film Released in Hindi as ( The Ghazi Attack) and Telugu, Tamil Film Titled as Ghazi. The film is Directed by Sankalp Reddy and features Rana Daggubati, KK Menon and Atul Kulkarni.

Ghazi Movie Story:

“The war you did not know about” – is a fitting tagline for Ghazi. With The Ghazi Attack, director Sankalp Reddy brings you all an untold story of the war between India and Pakistan which happened in 1971 under the seal belt of Vizag. Set in 1971, Ghazi traces the underwater warfare between the Indian submarine, S-21 and Pakistan’s PNS Ghazi. Based on the mysterious sinking of the Ghazi, the war drama unfolds under the waters of Bay of Bengal.

The only way that Ghazi can reach Bangladesh is through the Indian Ocean and also by destroying the mighty Indian warship INS Vikranth which stands on its way. In order to tackle the deadly Ghazi, the Indian navy Sent the S-21 submarine which is managed by Navy Commanders like Arjun Varma (Rana Daggubbatti). Rest of the story is as to how the entire team of S-21 stay underwater for days and manage to fight the deadly Ghazi.

Ghazi Movie Review:

The film starts on a decent note and it narrates about the situations across the sea and what all happens in a submarine. The movie turns interesting after the real plot unfolds. This film may not work well commercially but will remain as a remarkable film from our industry.

The entire first half is filled with brilliant confrontational scenes between K K Menon, Atul Kulkarni and Rana which engage you into the narrative completely. The love of the army towards their country is shown in an emotional way. After a decent first half, the second half of Ghazi takes a huge leap suddenly and stands unstoppable throughout. The film keeps you hooked. The story by Sankalp Reddy is brilliant and the screenplay is engaging from the beginning. Director Sankalp Reddy has done a great job with his writing skills. The way real life events have been narrated with a bit of fiction is very good and showcases the caliber of the young director. Directors like him make a mark and prove a point that Telugu films can also be made without the regular dance and fight routine.

The last 20 minutes is the major highlight of the movie and the war episodes have been presented with utmost clarity which will leave the audience thrilled. Special mention should go to the art department for showcasing the submarine and its interior in a splendid way. Yet another advantage for the film is the detailing done to the film. Every aspect from the submarine, uniforms to the visual effects everything has been carefully dealt with. Great photography by Mathi, and lovely work by the special effects team.
