Upcoming patriotic film Gold’s poster released which has the Actor Akshay Kumar in the spotlight with a very intense look, he is playing the role of an Indian Hockey player who secured India’s first Olympic gold medal after Independence.

 

 

The story is said to revolve around a man who dreams of winning India’s first Gold medal.

 

70th anniversary of India’s Independence, which is on August 15th this year, Akshay Kumar comes with a gift to all citizen, a story of India’s first gold medal as an independent country in Olympics game which was won on the 12th of August 1948 Olympics.

 

The film is written and directed by Reema Kagti the movie will hit theatres on 15th August.

 

 

Shot in India and Uk, the film shows the aspects of India pre-Independence which undoubtedly will be a proud moment for everyone to watch.
The film is also the debut of India’s hottest Naagin, Mouni Roy, who has become the hottest Naggin of Indian Television.

“All victories begin with a dream. It fills me with immense joy to present to you the official poster of #Gold, a film that is very close to my heart.”

 

Actor Akshay Kumar also couldn’t control his happiness over the release of the poster and took it to the twitter and wrote,
“Desh banta hai jab sab deshvasiyon ki aankhon mein ek sapna hota hai. #Gold15Aug”.

Mouni Roy who is making her debut in Bollywood by this film. She also got other films as well. Expressing her feeling and her gratitude in an interview, she said,
“I love John sir’s work. He has an intimidating personality, but everyone says lovely things about him. These days, I’m numb. After facing the camera with Akshay sir, I’ve worked with Ranbir and Alia but am yet to shoot with Bachchan sir (Amitabh Bachchan who is also a part of Brahmastra). When I do, I will be so nervous I’ll probably hide in a corner (laughs).
