One of the biggest Award show of the world IIFA was held at Bangkok’s Siam Niramit Theatre on Sunday night. Its the biggest Award ceremony in the world and the dream for every celebrity to be part of this. The award show was hosted by Karan Johar and the Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh.

News from the IIFA 2018 is Vidya Balan Starrer Tumhari Sulu wins the best film. The movie is directed by Suresh Triveni in which Vidya Balan is playing the role of a housewife who got the job in radio jockey.

The film was nominated with many other big movies of the Bollywood like Hindi Medium and Newton. But Tumhari Sulu takes the edge on other nominations.

Irrfan Khan wins the best actor for the film Hindi Medium. The film is directed by Saket Chaudhary in which Irrfan Khan is starring with Pakistan Actress Saba Qamar. He wins this award for playing the role of the father in the movie who is trying his best to get his child admitted in English Medium school in Delhi.

For this excellent script of Hindi Medium director Saket Chaudhary wins the award for Best Director.

As nowadays Irrfan Khan is currently suffering from Neuro Endrocine Tumor. Due to this, he wasn’t able to attend the Award show held in Bangkok. So on behalf of Irrfan Khan actress Shraddha Kapoor accepted the award.

Hindi Medium is nominated against some other films like Ranbir Kapoor for the movie Jagga Jasoos, Adil Hussain for the cinema Mukti Bhawan, Akshay Kumar for the movie Toilet and the young Rajkummar Rao for his Newton.

Legend actress who is no more Late Sridevi wins the Best Female Actress for the movie Mom. Her husband Boney Kapoor accept the award On behalf of her. She was nominated against Vidya Balan, Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar.

Zaira who is playing the role of Co-star in the movie Secret Superstar wins the best-supporting-actress award. Nawazzudin Siddiqui wins the best-supporting-actor award for his role in Mom. He dedicated his award to Sridevi who demise this year in February.
