Good News! Kareena And Saif Blessed With A Baby Boy And They Already Have A Name For Him!

Good News! Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are finally proud parents now. According to the reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan and husband Saif Ali Khan were blessed with a baby boy earlier today morning at the Breach Candy Hospital. Both the mother and the baby are said to be doing fine.

Kareena Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan have just been blessed with an adorable baby boy! Kareena’s father, Randhir Kapoor delightfully confirmed the news.

Saif and Kareena issued an official statement:

We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all…With love, Saif & Kareena.

While film industry is busy congratulating the couple on social media, Bebo’s BFF took to Twitter and revealed the name of this little munchkin. He wrote:

While their fans wait to get the first glimpse of the prince, one thing is clear – he has already been put in the spotlight, courtesy with his unique name. Much like other celebrities, Kareena and Saif have also come up with a name for their baby which is both unique and creative.

Out of curiosity, we googled the name. And here’s what we found.

According to Wikipedia, Timur was historically referred to as Tamerlane.

He “was a Turco-Mongol conqueror and also the founder of the Timurid Empire in Persia and Central Asia. He was also the first ruler in the Timurid dynasty. Born into the Barlas confederation in Transoxiana on 9 April 1336, Timur gained control of the western Chagatai Khanate by 1370. From that base, he led military campaigns across Western, South and Central Asia, Caucasus and southern Russia, and emerged as the most powerful ruler in the Muslim world after defeating the Mamluks of Egypt and Syria, the emerging Ottoman Empire and the declining Delhi Sultanate. As soon as the name was announced, the internet exploded. According to Twitter user Ashish Maharishi, “Taimur is a not an Arabic name, but rather a name from the Turkish language, and its means an ‘iron’ or an extremely strong substance.”

In another tweet by Urban Dictionary, Taimur is referred to as “brave king”.

Kareena Kapoor’s pregnancy has been the talk of the town for months now. Bebo hasn’t exactly been shying away from the limelight during this magical time in her life. In fact, she refused to put her career on hold and even walked the ramp as grace personified.

Undoubtedly, Kareena Kapoor carried her pregnancy like a boss and became an inspiration for all mommies-to-be around the world. This New Year is surely going to be very special for the couple.
