Mahesh Manjrekar’s upcoming film is going to be an underworld gangster drama film which is starring Vidyut Jammwal, and Shruti Hassan has now brought Sonal Chauhan as a new addition to the movie. Vijay Gilani is producing the film.

 

 

According to DNA, their sources said “Sonal plays an exciting role in the film justifying to the movie’s script. It’s something which she has not portrayed on screen before. The movie is an underworld gangster drama with the angle of Devdas, Paro, and Chandramukhi. While Shruti will be seen playing Paro, Sonal will portray the role of Chandramukhi in the movie.”

 

Currently, Sonal Chauhan is waiting for her war drama movie to be released which is titled “Paltan.”

 

Another source to mirror said “ The film follows a family feud with Vidyut’s character seeking solace in Sonal’s character’s arms as matter aggravate. The plot has an interesting ‘Devdas’ – like feel to it with a new take on the role of Chandramukhi played out in the story”.

 

 

Shruti Hassan plays the role of a small-town girl who falls in love with Vidyut’s character, an NRI, which will become the reason of feud between both families.

 

Sonal had debuted in Himesh Reshammiya’s album titled ‘Aap Ka Suroor.’ Later on, she played an outstanding role in the movie Jannat alongside Emraan Hashmi.

 

In last three years, Sonal has worked on 6 South Indian Movie.

 

We will also be able to see Naseeruddin Shah, Amole Palekar, and Jishu Sengupta.

While the shooting of the film has already started in April Sonal will be joining a bit late from this week, but according to sources she plays a significant role in the movie which she has not done before and will be interested in watching her do it.

 

 

In a statement, Sonal said “It’s an honor to be working with Mahesh sir. I’m a huge fan of his work and happy to be part of the project along with Vidyut and Shruti,”

Sonal’s upcoming film will be a war drama “Paltan” which is based on 1976 Nathu La and Cho La clash between The Indian and Chinese army.
