Naa Nuvve Movie Review: Bland and Boring

Directed by Jayendra Naa Nuvve is a romantic drama which revolves around two characters Varun (Played by Kalyanram) and Meera (played by Tamannaah). As simple as a love story sounds, it’s that tricky to perfect it. And unfortunately, this film fails to do so. The movie feels bland and boring story which fails to capture audience attention.

In the movie, Varun doesn’t believe in destiny opposite Meera who believe in such things. Varun gets a job abroad but is not able to go as his plans get postponed every time. Perhaps it’s his destiny to fall in love first then go and work somewhere else. Which sounds so forced even on paper, let alone to watch the drama in the movie.

On the other side of the story. Meera who somehow always comes across the same book “Love Signs” at a Railway station, a bookshop and if that’s not enough to digest she somehow finds the same book in her bedroom as well, how you ask it’s the same book?. Because it has a signature. And all is to do with destiny as she finds a picture of Varun inside the book, and she realises that he is the guy meant for her. And from that point miracles after miracles starts to happen in her life. All she does is to look at the picture.

There is so much to talk about the illogical story and concept, but that’s not all. The movie lacks chemistry between characters. There’s a tango dance sequence between Kalyanram and Tamannaah, and it proves precisely this: there’s no chemistry between the two.

There is a part where Varun challenges Meera to find out which station he might get down between Hyderabad and Chennai. If she succeeds, then he will believe in destiny. With chemistry like this where a guy doesn’t even know how to have a simple conversation with a simple girl who is in love with him. The movie is a pain to watch.

We can not find any reason to suggest this movie to anyone unless we want them to have an annoying experience. Skip this movie if you are not sure.
