Rakesh Omprakash Mehra Signs Ranveer Singh for a movie?

After the unfortunate lousy performance of the film Mirzya, it felt like Rakesh Omprakash Mehra had taken a long break from directing a movie. Currently, he is producing Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s reunion movie Fanne Khan which is said to be one of the most awaited films of the year.

But it looks like he is back to directing a movie.
According to reports, he has started working on the script of the movie and its said to be a family drama based on the relationship between a father and son. Sources tell Ranveer Singh has been approached for the role in the movie.

Padmaavat’s actor who did outstanding in the movie recently wrapped up the work of Gully boy and soon will start the shoot of Simba.

According to the source of Daily, “Ranveer and Rakeysh met and discussed working together. The filmmaker has bounced off the ideas to Ranveer, but nothing has been locked yet. They are going to have a few more meetings before they zero in on the film,”

However recently on Monday Ranveer Singh’s grandmother passed away which lead to canceling of the shoot and events of the actor.

Apart from that actor is already booked up for the movie Simba and 83. We may see a delay in the project as an actor has put all his work on hold. A picture of both was seen outside Rakesh’s office which gives the hint that Ranveer may join his project and work on the movie.

Currently, Ranveer is going through a massive transformation for movie Simba after the cinema Gully Boy which he said that both characters of the film are so different from one another.

Only time will tell whether we will be able to see him working in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra movie. However, the sudden unfortunate event when his grandmother passed away on Monday has put on hold all of his projects and events delaying the current plans of the actor. We hope for the best for the movie whatever the condition and our condolences to the actor Ranveer Singh may his grandmother’s soul rest in peace.
