Ranbir Kapoor Responded to Salman Khan’s Comment About Sanju
As the dates go by people, get more restless to watch the most awaited film the year. “Sanju” a Rajkumar Hirani’s film. Sanju is a biopic of Sanjay Dutt biopic. Most exciting part so far about the film has been the acting skill of Ranbir Kapoor showed in the trailer. Ever since the teaser had dropped people went crazy over it. Many people had praised the young actor. His father had said that he could not recognize if it’s him or Sanjay Dutt. While everyone was praising Ranbir for his acting skills, Salman Khan had made some comments about the film.
Salman Khan’s Comment
While everyone was praising the actor for his performance in the film. Salman Khan had a different view about Sanjay Dutt’s character. During his Race 3 promotions, he had given a statement. He said, “Even for the movie Sanju, I thought why did somebody else play his part? No one can do justice to that. The last bit of the film, Sanju only should have played it himself. The last portion of the last eight to ten years, Sanju only should have done it,”
Ranbir Kapoor’s Response
Ranbir has said a lot of things with regards to the film. He told how hard it was for him to play some of the parts of the film. And how he always looked upto Sanjay Dutt, and he wishes that Sanjay likes him. He told media before that he bad Sanjay Dutt’s poster on his cupboard and how he has always been a fan of him. When asked about his thoughts on the comment made by Salman Khan, he replied. “It has never happened that a person played himself in his biopic. This destroys the effect of a character.
I knew that I would be compared to Sanjay Dutt and that is why I have tried my best to do justice to his role.”
“Whether people see me in 40-year old Sanjay Dutt’s avatar or 20-year old, they should feel that they are watching an artist who is playing Sanjay Dutt. It is correct that I cannot become a second Sanjay Dutt,”
