Now, when coming into the details of the financial success of the film, it is quite admirable just parallel to the reviews, collecting Rs 8.40 crores on the first day and Rs 9.20 crores on the second day, the total collections together summed up to Rs 27 crores making it the highest grossing documentary drama in Indian history.
But when compared to the budget and expenses, the gross collections seems definitely low.
And, it is believed that the 44-Year-Old former cricketer has charged a whopping amount for the flick! It is being said that the former cricketer was paid more than Rs 35 crore for his film.
When asked about this, a source from the film has said “It’s somewhere close to Rs 40 crore. Maybe, not exactly 40 but he’s definitely got 35-38 crore for the film.” Now, after summarizing the investment alongside the gross collections, it seems that the movie has much to do in order to balance the statistics.
