Robot 2.0 may get postponed to 2019
After releasing film Kaala, Rajnikant’s most awaited movie Robot 2.0 which initially was planned to be released Diwali last year got postponed to 2018, however Rajnikant’s 2.0 may get delayed to 2019.
According to sources Rajnikant starrer Robot 2.0 which is a sequel of blockbuster Tamil film ‘Enthiran’ which was released in the year 2010, may not be possible to be released by the year-end. According to the makers of the film, the VFX work is taking way more time than expected and it may not be possible to release the movie at the end of this year.
In this film, we will be able to see Rajnikant as humanoid robot Chitti. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain.
However the constant delay of the film may have started to cause some problems for the movie as the audience are getting annoyed and irritated, one of the top comments on Time Of India by Rajesh Ranganathan, he wrote
“Better don’t release it. We get irritated Every time we hear about Robot 2.0.”
Another person named Madan Mohan commented.
People are fed up with this movie because everyone knows that it’s full of computer graphics. Rajnikant job is nothing, just they using his name.
While the movie had some raw footage released on social media a bit time ago stating that the movie has a wild budget of 450 crores, and is said to be Asia’s costliest film ever.
In October 2017 makers had hosted a grand audio launch at Dubai, when it was planned to be released on Diwali last year.
However, the official confirmation about the delay has not been made but speculations are it will be made very soon as the VFX work of the movie is proving to be a lot more time consuming than what was initially thought.
We hope whatever caused the delay in the release of the film gets resolved soon and the movie can hit the cinemas soon enough as people have started to get annoyed by any announcements made regarding Robot 2.0 which is not so great about the film.
