Watch: Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees Movie Trailer Is Out And It Looks Promising
The wait is over, finally! After watching the first teaser over a year and a half ago, fans have been eagerly waiting to watch Shah Rukh Khan in the role of a gangster in Raees. Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan and Pakistani actress Mahira Kan’s most anticipated film Raees trailer is finally out, and we believe it will blow your mind.
Raees is directed by Rahul Dholakia of Parzania and Lamha fame and is jointly produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
A day earlier, SRK released a brand new poster of the film which instantly reminds us of 1970s Bollywood.

Shah Rukh Khan plays a Gujarati bootlegger in the movie, where his character’s name is Raees Alam aka Miyaan Bhai. Pakistani actress Mahira Khan plays the female lead. Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays a cop in the movie.
As per reports, SRK’s role was inspired by Abdul Latif. During the ’80s, Latif ran a flourishing bootlegging business in the Popatiyawad area of Gujarat and rose to become a don. This may have had something to do with his getting into the bootlegging business later in life.
