Sonal Chauhan will be Playing Modern Chandramukhi
According to the reports and as we have reported before, Mahesh Manjrekar’s upcoming film is going to be an underworld gangster drama film. Which is starring Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Hassan has now brought Sonal Chauhan as a new addition to the movie.
Role of Sonal Chauhan
As per reports earlier, it is said that Sonal will not be playing the lead role. However, she will be playing a vital role in the film. Her character would be like modern day Chandramukhi.

“Sonal plays an exciting role in the film justifying to the movie’s script. It’s something which she has not portrayed on screen before. The movie is an underworld gangster drama with the angle of Devdas, Paro, and Chandramukhi. While Shruti will be seen playing Paro, Sonal will portray the role of Chandramukhi in the movie”.
“ The film follows a family feud with Vidyut’s character seeking solace in Sonal’s character’s arms as matter aggravate. The plot has an interesting ‘Devdas’ – like feel to it with a new take on the role of Chandramukhi played out in the story”.

The plot of the film
So far according to the sources, Shruti Hassan plays the role of a small-town girl who falls in love with Vidyut’s character, an NRI, which will become the reason of feud between both families.
While we are excited about her film “Paltan.” We can not wait to see Sonal playing a role like Chandramukhi. She started her career in Himesh Reshammiya’s album titled ‘Aap Ka Suroor’. And she has come a long way.
