After a fantastic opening of 10.7 crores making it 3rd biggest opener of the year, Veere Di Wedding has created even more on its 2nd day. Making a total of 22.95 crore Veere Di wedding has made 12.75 crores on its 2nd day.

 

Veere Di Wedding which revolves around the story of 4 childhood friend who is reunited after ten years for the wedding of Kalindi (Kareena Kapoor Khan) is having second thoughts about her marriage which is about to happen with Rishabh (Sumeet Vyas).

 

All girls are from Delhi and are bold, carefree who eats, drink and smoke and talk about sex and sex toys openly and cuss a lot. None of them are afraid to speak their mind and stick with their decisions, and they love getting high.

 

Its Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s first movie after her marriage and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first after she became a mother and they both looks fantastic.

However, there was a trend on Twitter
#BoycottVeereDiWedding because of the actresses’ stand on the Kathua rape case. It started when columnist Shefali Vaidya urged all Hindus with “any self-respect or dignity” to not watch any film starring “placard wala B grade actresses” like Sonam, Kareena, and Swara.

 

But it looks like nobody listened or followed that trend by the looks of the Box Officer numbers.

 

 

Verre Di Wedding is being appreciated by a lot of people and receiving excellent feedbacks which will result in the growth of the movie on box office even further.

 

Veere Di Wedding which clashed with Bhavesh Joshi is doing fantastic so far but only time will tell if the movie can keep up the lead compared to Bhavesh Joshi who is an excellent movie as well.

 

The news is after Veere Di Wedding Kareena Kapoor Khan is taking few months break to spend time with her son Taimur and will return on shoot around November to star in a Karan Johar’s production with Akshay Kumar.

 

Which according to reports is all set and the shooting will start after Akshay Kumar completes the shoot of House full 4.
