Winner is the much-awaited action movie which is high on romance and comedy quotient. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, it features Sai Dharam Tej and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The film did raise expectations of the trade and the audiences with its trailer.

Winner Movie Story:

Winner is an action movie which is high on romance and comedy quotient. Abburi Ravi and Sridhar Seepana have written the story, while Gopichand Malineni penned the screenplay. The film revolves around the story of a young man who rises to the top overcoming several hurdles and becomes a journalist. Sai Dharam Tej is a young guy and he gets tangled between his dislike for horse riding and his father (Jagapathi Babu).

He comes across a fitness freak Sitara and falls for her. She has a goal to become an athlete. After she enters into his life, a lot of changes happened and unexpectedly he has a fight with Jagapati Babu and Anoop Thakur and they are at logger’s heads always. At one point of time, Sai is being challenged by the Anoop to defeat him a horse race. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

Sai Dharam Tej has delivered a decent performance in Winner and he impresses the viewers with his action, dance and dialogue diction. Movie starts off at Bangalore Turf club. Sai dharam Tej’s Introduction fight is mass and Stylish. Ali, Prudhvi and Vennela Kishore’s hilarious comedy is a big asset to the film. Prudhvi as Singham Sujatha is too hilarious. Action scenes are full of energy. The bang before the interval raises the expectations of the second half.

Gopichand Malineni has chosen a tried and tested story for Winner, but he has some twists and turns in the screenplay to make the movie an interesting watch. Action, romance, comedy and music kept the audience entertained and engaged throughout the film. Popular TV personality” Bitthiri Satthi” cameo may entertan the audience.Horse Race backdrop gives some freshness to regular Audience. Climax horse race has been shot good. The post race sentiment scenes between Jagapatibabu and SaidharamTej are very poorly executed. The director has filled the film with all commercial elements. Those looking for those elements will not be disappointed.
