1-Year-Old Girl And 3-Year-Old Boy Knifed To Death In East London

A murder investigation has been launched after a 1-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy was knifed to death in East London.

According to reports, the incident happened at a home in Ilford, East London.

The 1-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene and the 3-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital, where he died.

A 40-year-old man, whose identity was not shared with the public, was rushed to a major trauma center in London as a priority for the treatment.

The Metropolitan Police released a statement about the incident, where they said:

A one-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene. A three-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment but subsequently died. A 40-year-old man has been taken hospital for treatment; condition awaits. All three suffered knife injuries. It is believed all parties involved are known to each other. At this early stage, police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident. Homicide detectives from Specialist Crime investigate.

The children and the man were found injured when the police, paramedics, and an air ambulance were called at the scene.

The incident happened at around 5:30 pm on Sunday.

The Air Ambulance of London was sent along with 3 ambulance crews, 2 medics in fast response cars, and advanced paramedics, and 2 incident response police officers.

The 3-year-old boy, 1-year-old girl, and the 40-year-old man sustained knife injuries.

Reports suggest that all parties that were involved in the incident knew each other.

The spokesperson of the London Ambulance Services released a statement about the incident, where they said:

We were called at 5.41pm today to reports of a stabbing in Aldborough Road North, Ilford. We treated two children and one adult but sadly one patient died at the scene. We took the other two patients to a major trauma centre as a priority.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased.
