52-Year-Old Chicago Woman Mauled To Death By Her Pet French Bulldog

A 52-year-old woman from suburban Chicago was mauled to death by a French Bulldog that she adopted recently.

According to authorities, the French Bulldog was bred to fight.

Lisa Urso, a resident of Ingleside, Illinois, was found unresponsive on the patio of her house on Saturday.

Investigators said that she died from an attack from one of the 3 dogs that she had.

The 52-year-old woman had a second French Bulldog, which was found by the authorities with some blood on it.

The woman also had a border collie.

Dr. Howard Cooper, Lake County Coroner, said:

I hate to say it, but unfortunately, it was a vicious attack. You don’t really think about it happening with a smaller dog breed, but we forget animals can be powerful. This animal has a lot of jaw strength.

Cooper said that the pooch attacked Urso inside her house before she made it out to the patio.

Urso reportedly died in the patio, and was found with bite wounds and scratches on her arms, legs, or torso.

The dog that attacked and killed Urso weighs around 55 pounds.

Officials said that the dog had recently attacked the boyfriend of Urso.

Urso then requested to get her dog back after it was taken by the Lake County Animal Care and Control.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Urso.

May her soul, rest in peace.
