8-Year-Old Girl From Israel Is Besties With Her Massive 11ft Pet Snake And They Swim Together

An 8-year-old girl from Israel is currently besties with her massive pet snakes and she even goes on swimming with one of her pet pythons!

Belle, an 11-foot yellow python, is one of the many pets of the family that is living in an animal sanctuary in an agricultural community.

This sanctuary is located in Southern Israel.

Belle was given the name after Belle, a female character in Beauty and the Beast, which is a movie by Walt Disney.

She is known for wearing a yellow ball gown in a famous dance scene in the movie.

Inbar said that Belle, her pet snake, has proven that she is good company during this coronavirus pandemic, where schools have been closed.

Talking about her pet, she said:

It helps me pass the time because I really like to hang out with snakes and sometimes I help snakes shed (their skin) and I help them to be happy during coronavirus.

Sarit Regev, the mother of Inbar, said that the 2 grew up together and are really close to each other.

Talking about the snake and her daughter along with the other animals that they have in the sanctuary, Sarit said:

Inbar was raised with all these animals and she was raised with the snakes. When Inbar was little she swam inside the bath with the snake and now she has grown up and the snake got bigger, so they swim together in the pool. It’s very natural for us. There are people that say – ‘you are crazy, how can you do it, you don’t love your kids,’” said Regev. “It’s a lovely life to live like this. When a kid grows up with animals he becomes a person that loves other people, he becomes a person that cares about others and not about himself.
