They never saw me!
An adorable baby elephant tried to hide behind a narrow light pole after getting caught eating sugarcane in Thailand.
I mean, I didn’t see him too, wink wink.
The elephant was found in Ching Mai, which is located in the north part of the mountainous areas of the country.
After getting caught by locals, the adorable little one hid behind the narrow pole.
I mean, how adorable is that???
As locals started to investigate the entire incident and scene, the little one just stood still behind the light pole and hoped that it was not spotted.
The little one was really scared, you can see it and feel it.
It is believed that there are around 2,000 elephants that are living in the wild in Thailand and a similar number that is living in captivity.
The animals are usually found in the wild and they are roaming the deep jungles and the protected national parks of the country.
Killing an animal or hitting it carries a prison term in the country along with a fine.
Also, animals are heavily respected in the country, which is why they are allowed to roam around freely if they get into human areas.
The good thing about this incident is that the elephant was not harmed by the locals and it was respected.
