Adorable Dog Looking For New Home After Being Abandoned By Owner In A Bus

An adorable pooch hopped on a bus in West Yorkshire, but sadly no one came forward to collect her, and now, she is in kennels.

The dog got on a 620 bus that was headed for Bradford City Center, on her own on October 16, 2019.

Passengers and the staff members of the bus looked after the pooch before taking her to the kennels.

The dog will be staying at the kennels for 7 days, and if her owners don’t come forward to claim the dog, the dog will be heading to a new home.

Gemma Burton, a passenger, said she was on the bus when the poor pooch got on.

During an interview with Yorkshire Post, Gemma said, “She got on at Bierley. She did try and get off the bus at one point but it was on the busy main road, so we got her to stay on and someone stayed with her on the bus before she was taken off at Bradford Interchange.”

The pooch is currently with the Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue.

The staff and workers at the dog rescue believe the owners of the pooch may not come forward.

Janet Burrell, the trustee of the rescue, said, “Whoever her owner is mustn’t be missing her that much, it’s been 48 hours now. She just got on the bus all by herself in Bierley and stayed on until she was removed by the staff in the city center. We need a new home for her.”
