Most of us get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or have our midnight snacks, but that was not the case with a kid.

A 2-year-old toddler named Finn has a special bond with his pet dog.

According to his mother, Finn was diagnosed with a cyanotic heart defect when his mother was on her 20th week of pregnancy.

Luckily the doctors found the life-threatening condition of Fin and did everything they could to prevent further complications.

This helped them save the life of the young fella.

After birth, Finn had successfully undergone an arterial switch surgery.

Given the delicate state of the boy, Finn had to be monitored closely.

His gentle condition was noticed by Brutus, the family dog, and everything went well from that time.

The 2 became inseparable and spent every waking and sleeping hours together.

Initially, Brutis would sleep on the floor in front of the crib of Finn to make sure that the boy was right.

Not only that, but Finn would get out of his crib in the middle of the night and would cuddle with Brutus.

The mother of the boy then installed a nanny cam to have a better idea of what exactly is going on in the room of the boy.

After setting up the camera, the mother learned the hilarious truth.

The nanny cam shows the toddler sneaking out the bed at around 3 am to cuddle with his beloved pet dog.
