Bartolomeo Bove, a diver, got to face a massive 7-meter long anaconda when he was diving in the Formozo River in Brazil.

Bartolomeo Bove and his friend Juca Ygarape were diving in July when they got to face a massive Green Anaconda, which is the largest species of snake on our planet.

Bove and Juca were diving in the Formoso River when they got to encounter the 23ft long green anaconda.

In the clip that was shared by the 2 divers, it showed the 23 feet long green anaconda lying on the riverbed.

The giant anaconda then saw the divers and started to flick its tongue out.

The snake then decided to slither its way away from Bove.

Instead of getting scared and screaming like a little girl, Bove and his guts decided to follow the 23feet long snake.

Bove managed to get incredible footage of the giant green anaconda.

Bove explained that his clip shows snakes are not aggressive and are not scary.

Bove explained, “The rivers and the bodies of water around the Bonito area are the only places in South America where anacondas can be found in crystal clear waters, and therefore diving with them is possible. As shown in the footage the anaconda swims calm and peaceful, completely indifferent to our presence – sometimes she comes closer, curious about my camera [and] licking the lens.”

He added, “The behavior of the anaconda debunks the myth that it is an aggressive and violent creature that can endanger people’s lives.”

The Green Anaconda is the largest snake species in the world, and they are capable of growing up to 30 feet. They can also weigh up to 250 kilograms.
