Doctors Surprised By Cancer Patient’s Improvement After His Dog Visited Him At The Hospital
Dogs are amazing, and they can help us get through a lot of things when we are sad or are going through rough times.

It has been tough times for Santos, considering the fact that cancer treatment drains a lot of energy and makes a patient go very weak.
Luckily, he has a secret weapon that makes him happy all the time.
Agadir, his dog, was left at their house because dogs are not allowed at hospitals.
But the staff of the hospital learned from someone that Agadir could help Santos in recovering, they made special arrangements for that to happen.
When Agadir met Santos again, you could see the 2 were extremely happy.

Not only that, Doctors saw a lot of good things with Santos.
Dr. Rodrigo Tancredi said:
I was surprised. He was conscious, oriented and talking. We visibly noticed his improvement the other day. The improvement occurred in a gradual way and remains.
Dr. Tancredi said that visits from pets appear to have psychological and physical benefits, which resulted in increased appetite, lower heart rate, and normal blood pressure.
The doctor added:
I talked about the possibility of him being discharged from the hospital.
This is the first time a patient’s pet has been allowed to come in for a visit at the hospital.
