Dog Who Had Face Ripped Off By Chinese Meat Traders Will Get Major Facial Reconstructive Surgery

A poor dog, who is also known as the ugliest dog in the UK, will be getting a major facial reconstructive surgery after their face was ripped off by Chinese Meat traders.

The poor face of the dog was ripped by off by meat traders in China.

Angel, a Belgian Shepherd, has over 30,000 followers on Instagram and people are doing all they can to help out the dog.

The dog was rescued from the back of a truck that was on its way to a slaughterhouse in the year 2015.

Angel is from Changhun, China.

They were rescued and they ended up being rehomed by a dog-loving person from the UK.

Hollie Cornes saw the dog and fell in love with her right away despite the horrific injuries that they had.

The dog was caused by tools dog catchers use to get hold of dogs and drag them off.

Angel had surgery in Beijing, a capital in China, before being flown to the United Kingdom by Rushton Dog Rescue.

Holly was devastated when Fitzpatrick Referrals, specialists vets, said that it will need around £7,500 to fix the remaining health problems of the dog.

The best thing about this story is that the social media followers of Angel are currently doing their part and are trying to help out the dog.

A single person, yes only 1, ended up paying for the £2,500 CT scan of the dog.

Talking about the fundraising for the dog, Hollie said:

We raised the money really quickly, which I never expected. Without the fundraising and her support system it wouldn’t have been an option – in total it added up to cost about £7,500 – which we never would have been able to afford. She’s got so many people that love and care about her [on social media] – it was only because of that that I thought it would be possible to raise that amount of money. We were told her initial CT scan would be £2,500 and one lady on Instagram sent the money straight away – which was incredible. I personally think this surgery has been life-changing for her. I didn’t want to put her through any more stress and surgery – none of this was for aesthetic reasons, I loved the way she looked before – it was purely based on her quality of life.

Let’s hope for the best for Angel.
