Dumped Pitbull Puppy Is Adopted By Firefighter That Saved Her

A dumped pitbull was so lucky because she was saved and adopted by the firefighter that got to rescue her.

Chunk, the puppy, was neglected and was found by the authorities tied and dumped on a tree.

He was spotted by the right people, who called the authorities that saved the dog right away to make sure that he gets treatment.

The best thing about this story is that Chunk was saved and adopted by the same firefighter that rescued her.

In the evening of October, Chunk was neglected and found dumped.

She was covered in mange and was spotted shivering in the cold.

Luckily, a group of firefighters in Sacramento, USA, decided to check on the pooch after they got a call about the animal.

Firefighter Mike Thawley was one of the group, but he had no idea that he would be getting attracted to the dog.

The firefighters picked up the dog and brought her back to the station with them.

The firefighters nurtured the puppy.

Chunk had swollen legs and mange when she was rescued. The saddest part was that the puppy wanted some affection.

The men dropped Chunk off at the Front Street Animal Shelter so she could get treatment.

The staff at the shelter treated her mange right away and gave the dog a shirt so she could stay warm until her fur grows back.

Thawley, the firefighter, had a strong connection with Chunk and he could just not get her out of his mind.

As a result, he ended up visiting the dog.

The best part about the reunion of the 2 was that Chunk climbed on Thawley, kissed him, and wagged her tail continuously.

The 2 had such a good time together that the firefighter ended up bringing his family to meet the dog.

A couple of days after meeting her, the family of Thawley ended up deciding that they would be bringing the dog to their house.

The family also had to wait for 4 months so the dog could finish her comprehensive mange treatment.
