Elephant Rescued After It Fell In 15-Feet Deep Ditch In India

A heartwarming video that is viral on the internet right now shows an elephant climbing out a 15-foot ditch in Andhra Pradesh, India.

The tusker was able to successfully climb out of the ditch following a rescue operation.

According to reports, a JCB excavator was used to create a dirt ramp for making a way out of the ditch.

A video of the rescue was shared on social media by Sudha Ramen, an Indian Forest Services Officer.

Officer Ramen said that the incident happened in the Chittoor area in Andhra Pradesh, India.

The ditch was owned by a farmer, who informed the forest department.

The excavator was used to create a dirt ramp for the elephant so it could climb out the ditch, authorities also encouraged the elephant so it could climb out.
