Florida Woman Wandering Wetlands Runs Into Massive Alligator

People from Florida are known for making headlines, not normal ones but rather unusual.

In the latest WTF moment, a woman from Florida was on a walk and she had no idea that she would end up bumping into a massive alligator.

Conny Randolph, a Florida woman, who also works as a guide at Clyde Butcher’s Big Bypress Gallery, a wetland preserve located in Florida, was on a stroll when she got to face a massive alligator.

Conny said she came across an 11-foot local alligator resident.

A swamp encounter with Loosescrew, aka Snaggletooth. When wildlife approach, slowly and carefully give them their space. Listen to the almost ‘Jurassic Park’ sound this Bull gator makes before hissing his displeasure at my being in his way…. the sound is very subtle before the warning hiss.

In a video of the encounter, Conny can be heard saying “I’m going to back up a little bit” as the alligator started to approach her.

If you’re wondering why Conny was so relaxed throughout the video, that’s because she is a local resident and she knows how to act properly in situations like these.

She said the alligator that she got to face has been living in the area for decades and is well known amongst tour guides.

While sharing the video of the encounter on Facebook, Conny said: “A swamp encounter with Loosescrew, aka Snaggletooth. When wildlife approach, slowly and carefully give them their space.”

She added, “Listen to the almost ‘Jurassic Park’ sound this Bull gator makes before hissing his displeasure at my being in his way…. the sound is very subtle before the warning hiss.”

She continued, “When we can live amongst the wild world without harming each other, it is INCREDIBLE!”

The good thing is that Conny handled everything in a very calm manner.

If it were me I would have screamed like a 2 year old girl, panic, and just feed myself to the massive alligator.

Jokes aside, well done Conny!
