A video that is viral on social media right now shows a massive alligator in Brazil trying to swallow an alligator.

The incident reportedly happened in the Ponta Negra neighbourhood of Manaus, Brazil.

In the video, the massive anaconda could be seen wrapped around the bloody alligator as it tried to swallow it in whole.

According to local reports, the incident happened on August 7, 2020, but its video was recently shared on social media.

Locals tried to drag the anaconda and the alligator away by tying a rope around them.

Dernando Reis, a resident of the condominium where the incident happened, said that they found the snake tangled up with the alligator.

He saw some people dragging away the 2 reptiles from the condominium and into a street in an attempt to save the alligator.

The intervention of the people succeeded and they managed to separate the alligator and snake.

The anaconda in the video was over 6 feet.

The 2 animals returned to the forest after they got separated, said locals.
