A heartless Florida dog owner was caught on cam punching and brutally beating up a helpless puppy that they owned.

The dog owner had to surrender his puppy to the authorities after a passerby caught him on cam punching and smacking his pet.

It is believed that the puppy was in extreme fear when the owner started to beat him up.

The owner of the puppy was not identified or charged by the police despite being caught on cam abusing a 2-year-old pitbull Labrador named Adi.

The incident happened near Boynton Beach’s Intracostal Park in Florida.

The video shows the heartless human walking Adi on a leash before punching and slapping her.

Stacey Ryback, a bystander, who had been out walking her own dog, saw Adi running around loose before the man pulled up in his vehicle.

During an interview with the local news, Ryback said that the owner just grabbed the harness and started to bear the dog.

The started to record the incident on her personal smartphone and called 911 to report the heartless thug right away.

When confronted by the police, the man said that Adi managed to escape from their house and the puppy was not obeying commands to return back home.

He was afraid that his puppy could end up hurting someone.

The man later admitted that he was wrong.

The authorities brought Adi to a vet to get him checked out before bringing him to safety, away from the heartless owner.

The puppy was brought in a local animal control care.

An official investigation has been launched for the incident too.

The good thing is that the dog was rescued by experts and is currently being taken cared by experts.
