The police in Pennsylvania, USA, received a complaint about a massive black bear, however, they did not have to go very far to capture it, instead, they just had to go out of their police department.

The bear managed to ride a garbage truck, which was brought to the police station.

The Kidder Township Police Department shared images of the black bear riding the truck on their official Facebook Page.

The bear could be seen enjoying the ride and even ended up smiling for the camera as you can see in the picture below.

The police department in Carbon County said that the bear sightings in the area had increased in recent times.

Office Vincent Murrow of the Kidder Township Police Department released a statement about the incident, where they said:

We can only assume it was sick of going for the small, small amount of trash in the garbage pails and went for the big prize. It’s been pretty frequent, almost daily that we’re getting a new bear complaint in the area.

The images of the black bear were shared on social media earlier this week.

The post has collected over 14,000 shares and over 710 comments on Facebook alone.

The police said that the bear managed to make its own way down after the truck was placed right next to a tree.

The bear is currently safe and was not hurt in the incident.
