Hilarious Parrot Interrupts Soccer Match After Successfully Landing On Player’s Head

During a soccer team’s training match in Brazil, a hilarious parrot decided to interrupt the match and land on the player’s head.

The best thing about this is that the parrot successfully landed on the head of a female player and everything was caught on cam.

The macaw was not shy about the things he did.

Bruna Benites, a player for the SC Internacional, was in the middle of the pitch when the macaw saw her and decided to sit on her head.

Talking about the incident, Benites said that she looked ahead and saw the macaw was coming towards her.

During an interview with Globo News, Benites said:

I looked ahead and saw that it was coming towards me. I just turned around and thought it was going to pass [by me].

The funny part is that the macaw did not just pass by, instead, he landed on her head, which placed the practice on hold.

ESCLARECENDO ALGUMAS COISAS: A CENA DE ONTEM DA ARARA POUSANDO EM MIM NÃO É UMA CENA TRISTE MAS SIM UMA CENA SIMBÓLICA. ISSO NÃO MUDA O CENÁRIO LAMENTÁVEL QUE ESTAMOS VIVENDO NO PANTANAL E EM TANTOS OUTROS LUGARES DO MUNDO POR CONSEQUÊNCIA DAS QUEIMADAS, MAS PROVA QUE AINDA EXISTEM PESSOAS CONSCIENTES E QUE SE IMPORTAM SIM COM NOSSOS ANIMAIS. ESTA ARARA, É A @ararapele , ELE É UMA ARARA QUE VIVE AQUI, NO CONDOMÍNIO DA GRANJA COMARY, COM SUA FAMÍLIA HUMANA E É UM ANIMAL DOMESTICADO, LICENCIADO PELO IBAMA E MUITO BEM TRATADO POR SEUS TUTORES. ELE É UM ANIMAL LIVRE E É JUSTAMENTE POR ISSO QUE NOS VISITA FREQUENTEMENTE DURANTE OS TREINOS. NORMALMENTE ELE FICA ASSISTINDO A TUDO DE CAMAROTE, PERTO DO GOL. COSTUMA FICAR NO TRAVESSÃO OU NA REDE ATRÁS DO GOL MAS ONTEM ELE RESOLVEU VER AS COISAS DE UM OUTRO ÂNGULO E COMO, PROVAVELMENTE, EU ERA A ÚNICA COM SANGUE PANTANEIRO (com muito orgulho) E COINCIDENTEMENTE O PONTO MAIS ALTO DENTRO DO CAMPO, ELE RESOLVEU POUSAR EM MIM. Hahahaha 📸 @maga.thais #araracaninde #arara #sospantanal #pantaneiro #MT #MS

The macaw that we are talking about here is not just a stranger.

The macaw is Pele, a domesticated bird that lives with his licensed caretaker in a home that is located near the stadium.

He is allowed to fly around as he pleases, but you already know what pleases him the most, and that’s football.

Benites said that Pele is a free animal and visits them frequently during training.

Pele usually watches everything from behind the goal lines, but this time he decided to go in the middle instead and enjoy the view just like the players do.

This is the first time Pele has landed on the head of someone and Benites is happy because she is the chosen one.
