Massive Python Swallows Family’s Pet Cat Whole In Queensland

A Queensland family’s beloved cat was swallowed by a massive python.

Stuart McKenzie, a snake catcher from Queensland, was called to a home on the morning of Monday by a woman who found a snake in her garden.

The massive python was 2 meters long and was sleeping in their garden with a massive belly.

In a Facebook post that was made by Stuart, he said, “I took the snake to the local vet and we scanned for a microchip and sure enough it was a family’s pet cat.”

He added, “The owner of the cat was contacted by the vet and she called me afterwards and we had a good chat.”

He continued, “She was obviously very sad and her kids were devastated.”

Stuart said it was really uncommon for pets to be eaten by protected reptiles.

Stuart also warned owners to keep their animals from exploring neighborhoods.

He explained, “Not only do cats predatory instincts take over and they kill lots of native wildlife but they can also be killed by native wildlife or run over by cars.”

Stuart rescued the snake and removed it from the family’s house.

The snake was released the snake back into the wild.

RIP little one.
