The Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 shared images of a small carpet python hanging from a roof with a possum down its throat.
The images were posted on their official Facebook page.
A python was seen devouring a possum that was much bigger in size while it was hanging from a room.
The incident happened in Australia.
Images of the incident are currently being shared widely on social media.
The graphic images revealed that the snake did its best to devour the massive possum while they were both upside down.
But the efforts of the python failed because the animal that it was trying to eat was too heavy and much bigger to eat.
The snake was rescued by the authorities and was relocated to an undisclosed location.
The possum passed away in the incident.
