A video that is viral on social media right now, shows a woman being stung by a bee before her lip swells up like a sausage.

The video, which has been viewed by over 10 million users, shows the woman stealing a piece of honeycomb.

The 29-year-old woman, whose identity was not shared with the public, shows how she went on a trip in Xiapu County, which is located in the Ningde city of China’s Fujian Province.

In the video, the woman could be seen filming a selfie video as she bites on a piece of wild honeycomb while saying “This is delicious”.

It turned out that the woman cut the piece of honeycomb from the hive while harvesting honey.

Moments after chomping on the piece of the honeycomb, a honeybee could be seen landing just underneath her nose and stinging her.

A second video shows the bee struggling to free itself as the barbed sting goes deep into the skin of the woman.

That has to hurt.

Once the insect finally manages to free itself, it leaves its stinger behind and the woman starts to cry in pain.

Her lip then increases in size in a very fast way.

The Chinese woman had to go and get medical attention after her top lip got so big that it looked like a sausage.

Talking about what the pain felt like, the unnamed woman said that the sting hurt like “hell” adding that she had a very hard time in drinking water.

The woman admitted:

No bite of honey comes free. I’m terrified because my lip won’t stop swelling. That was a mistake!

The incident was a very scary experience, luckily the bee sting was not life-threatening.
