A woman from the United States of America had to stab her own pet pit bull to death after it started to attack a golden retriever.

The pit bull was euthanized after being stabbed by the American woman.

It was taken from a property on Oakland Boulevard in Cambridge City, Massachusetts, USA.

Police officers rushed to the scene on the evening of November 7, 2020, after it was reported that a dog was stabbed to death.

The resident, who sustained scratches to her legs, told them that her pet pitbull started to attack her other dog, a golden retriever pit bull mix.

The woman said that her mix-breed dog sustained injuries from the incident.

Investigating police officers also found a large amount of rubbish in the property, which made them gag due to the bad smell that it was emitting.

6 felines were also found hiding in the clutter.

The police said that the pitbull had suffered injuries from the incident.

It was euthanized at a veterinary clinic on East Wheeling Avenue.

The police have launched an official investigation into the incident.

The police also said that the home posed a significant danger to the people that are living inside it and the people that are living near the house.
