World’s Most Colorful Spider Poses For Amateur Indian Photographer
The world’s most colorful spider was caught on cam posing for amazing pictures that were being taken by an Indian Photographer.
The extremely small peacock spider, which only measures around 0.3 inches in length, has luminous hues of pink, purple, red, blue, and orange.
Luckily, 31-year-old Pavan Tavrekere, an amateur photographer, was there to capture the adorable colorful spider.
Pavan, who is from Bangalore, India, spotted the peacock spider in the JP Nagar region of Bangalore and took pictures of it right away.
Recalling the moment, Pavan said he was flabbergasted when he saw the spider.
Pavan added, “It was a riot of colors, and the little fellow didn’t seem to stay in one spot for more than three seconds. All I knew was I had to take a few shots, to show other spider enthusiasts what I had found.”
He continued, “I shot an image just to capture it, and then I let other people around me shoot, as it was the first time they were seeing it. But after seeing a few people take photos, I wanted to get a better image, with multiple flashes. I moved over to another spot and set up a second flash, and shot it for around 20 minutes.”
Talking about the spider, Pavan said it was skittish in the beginning and ended up staying in one spot for over 2 minutes.
The spider later disappeared below dry leaves on the ground.
Pavan, who works at an IT company, said that spiders in their area are commonly spotted between the months of February and April each year.
