A young hunter is now being considered as a hero after he was seen risking his own life and rescuing Koalas from the Australian bushfires.

Patrick Boyle, the hunter, reportedly entered an unsafe area in Victoria to save and rescue Koalas.

Boyle later shared images of him holding a Koala that he saved from the bushfires.

Boyle claims he successfully saved 9 Koalas from the raging bushfires, allowing them to live in a new home.

According to reports, he saved the Koalas from the Mallacoota forests in Victoria.

Talking about how it started, Boyle said his friend found a Koala under the pump of a water treatment plant, which forced him to help out without thinking twice.

Boyle said it did not take him that long to find other Koalas in need of help, leading him to save around 9 of them.

Talking about the saves he made, Boyle said, “I’ve found eight or nine so far that have been rescued. I found over ten that were dead and about another five that are alive and healthy for the time being.”

After saving the Koalas from the raging bushfires, Boyle took the animals to the Mallacoota Wildlife Shelter, which is located near them.

The wildlife shelter is at the house of a person.

Many consider Boyle as an “Unlikely Hero” due to his hunting hobby.

Boyle explained, “I’m a hunter – I’m one of the last people that others would expect to help these animals.”

He added, “Farmers, hunters, and workers are the ones out there actually taking action right now.”

Boyle said the animals that he saved are still alive.

He said some of the animals are better than the others, and some of the animals that he saved are shocked or dehydrated.

In an update that he shared with the Today Show, Boyle said some of the Koalas are really burnt and are having a hard time eating leaves.

Boyle, a 22-year-old hero, is now urging people to donate to the Mallacoota Wildlife Shelter.
