Baahubali’s Forgotten Hero Art Director Madhu Jagadh Alleged SS Rajamouli Cheated Him

Renowned Art Director of Indian Cinema, Manu Jagadh is known for his work in Mollywood and South Indian films alleges that he has been cheated by the Tollywood Telugu film industry director SS Rajamouli. Director of Indian blockbuster movie Baahubali, SS Rajamouli has been striking the headlines of media with new controversies centering him and his crew of the movie.

Yes, I now too go with the statement that I Got Cheated, for i was called for this movie as the Art Director and Sabu sir being the production designer , but been designated as chief art asst in the movie baahubali on which I felt I got cheated by depromoting by career level which I had achieved upon my 20 years of vigorous hard work. Manu Jagadh, Art Director of Baabhubali Says God (SS Rajamouli) Cheated Him

Leading Art Director of South Indian film industry Manu Jagadh claims the he has been cheated by the highly priased director of current times SS Rajamouli and is denied of his credit. The art director Manu Jagadh claims that he had worked extensively on Baahubali designs and accuses the ace director of Indian cinema SS Rajamouli of denying him his credit (title) in the movie.

Manu Jagadh the art director says that he was included in the prestigious project as an art director while he has been denied of his work by reducing the to an art assistant as per film credits. Art director Manu Jagadh has worked as the art director for around 16 films before being hired for Baahubali and he says he regards Sabhu Cyril, the man behind huge structures and sets of Baahubali, as his guru.

Expressing his pain in the neck in a blog post, Manu says he moved to Hyderabad to work only for Baahubali and did all the major designs which include costumes of leading roles of the movie Prabhas, Rana besides Kalakeya’s but was shocked to see Art assistant in the titles of the movie which is denying credits to him by the director SS Rajamouli. Hence feels cheated by Baahubali movie director

Art Director Manu Jagadh further claimed that due to his tiresome work, fibre work, sketching and supervising he developed severe eye complications and was treated at LV Prasad’s Eye Hospital and Vasan Eye Care in Trivandrum. He states his refusal to work with the director SS Rajamouli for the part -II of Baahubali though he has done most of the considerable designs and art work.

These severe allegations of Manu Jagadh has left the Tollywood and Indian cinema associated people in a perplexed state as there hasn’t been any official statement from director SS Rajamouli responding to these allegations.

Manu Jagadh said this on Facebook along with images conveying fans that, Siby Cyrel has cheated him but not Rajamouli. He apologized his fans for taking this news in wrong way about Rajamouli. But he deserved to be appreciated for his work.
