Child Molester Who Sexually Abused 9 Boys While Working At Church And School Gets Killed In Jail
A 33-year-old convicted pedophile got killed in a prison fight last week.
Cesar Pastrana, 33, died of his injuries after a brawl broke out at Hancock County Jail, Georgia, where he had served 8 years of his life sentence for child sex abuse, said the police.
Pastrana was convicted of molesting 9 young boys.
The 33-year-old pedophile was murdered in a brutal prison fight on March 13, 2020.
Pastrana died after being rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
The GDC (Georgia Department of Corrections) said that the death of Pastrana is being investigated as a homicide.
The Georgia Department of Corrections released a statement about the incident.
The statement said, “Agents have reason to believe offender Cesar Pastrana died as a result of injuries sustained during an altercation involving another inmate on March 13.”
The statement added, “Medical personnel responded and life saving measures were performed. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 12:15pm by a hospital physician.”
In 2012, Pastrana, who was a church volunteer, was sentenced to life in jail after pleading guilty to multiple counts of child molestation.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, on February 10, 2012, Pastrana was arrested after he volunteered to help at a weekend lock-in event that was sponsored by a local church.
He was charged with molesting a juvenile.
In September that year, he pleaded guilty to 10 counts of child molestation, 4 counts of aggravated child molestation, and one count of aggravated sodomy.
The incident involved 9 boys, which included 2 of his relatives.
