Elon Musk calls the rumors of toilet paper shortage in Tesla Company as “Nonsense”

Elonk Musk, the founder, CEO, and lead designer of SpaceX, called the rumors of toilet paper shortage in Tesla as “completely nonsense”.

Earlier this week, Electrek said that “teams at several Tesla facilities are going to some extremes in attempts to cut costs, including skipping on ordering office supplies – even toilet paper”.

And today, Elon Musk called the rumors as “This is complete nonsense.”

Fred Lambert, the Editor-in-Chief of Electrek replied again, and said, “I wish it wasn’t true too, but reliable employee sources are reporting it. You can shoot the messenger all you want.”

The rumors came out after Elon Musk announced the cost-cutting plan of Tesla earlier this month.

Elon said that he will be personally looking out at the rumors and will be looking at the situation.

The new cost-cutting plan of Tesla involves in examining every payment, which includes travel expenses, rent, salary, and parts of the company.

The company lost $702 million during their last quarter and Elon Musk said that the cost-cutting plan is really “important” for the company right now.

The market value of Tesla is currently $61 Billion, and Elon Musk has an estimated net worth of $20.1 billion, which makes the CEO as the 80th richest person on our planet.
