Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the King of Saudi Arabia, said that the “terrorist attacks” on oil stations in the region could affect the global supply of oil.

During a meeting of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) in Mecca, the King said, “We confirm that terrorist actions not only target the kingdom and the Gulf region but also target the safety of navigation and world oil supplies.”

The King asked leaders of the Gulf and the Arab to confront the “criminal acts” of Iran after the terrorist attacks that damaged 4 oil vessels, 2 oil tankers, and the drone attacks on the Saudi Oil Pipeline.

Before the Organization of Islamic Cooperation started, King Salman said, “We will resolutely confront aggressive threats and subversive activities.”

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is the third and is the final summit hosted by the country this week, the sole purpose of the summit is to gain support among Islamic and Arab countries against Iran, their rival.

Tehran has denied any involvement of in the “terrorist acts” and was disappointed at the “baseless accusations”

Yousef bin Ahmed al-Othaimeen, the secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, said, “Undermining the security of the kingdom effectively undermines the security of the Arab and Islamic world, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation calls for a position on the attacks on the kingdom.”
