Taliban Leader Says They Will Allow Ashraf Ghani And Amrullah Saleh To Return To The Country

Amnesty for everyone.

The Taliban have said that they are going to allow the former president and vice president of Afghanistan to return to the country.

Khalil ul Rahman Haqqani, a Taliban leader, said that they are going to allow Ashraf Ghani and Amrullah Saleh to return to the country if they want to.

Haqqani said that the enmity between the Taliban and the former government of Afghanistan happened on the basis of religion.

He added:

We forgive Ashraf Ghani, Amrullah Saleh, and Hamdullah Mohib. We forgive everyone from our end; from the general (who fought in the war against us) to the common man.

Not only that, but Haqqani also said that people should not leave the country because they are not going to hurt anyone.

Haqqani mentioned that the enemy is currently spreading propaganda that the Taliban is going to carry out revenge attacks.

Haqqani noted that all the Tajiks, Balochs, Pashtuns, and Hazaras are their brothers.

The leader also talked about the US invading their country.

Haqqani said that the Taliban only went to war because the US decided to invade their country.

Talking about the Taliban, Haqqani said that their group achieved a huge victory over their enemies.

The Afghanistan Army had 350,000 members and was supported by the USA, NATO, and many other countries.

Talking about their ambitions, Haqqani said that the Taliban wants all Muslim countries to reconcile with one another.

He also said that countries should provide due rights to their citizens.

Talking about their current plans, Haqqani said that they are currently trying to form a new government, which would be made out of capable and educated people.

Many currently believe that the new government in Afghanistan is going to be led by Mullah Baradar, the co-founder of the group.

Baradar arrived in Kabul a couple of days ago for the first time in nearly 20 years.
