Teacher Left In Tears After Students Pool Money To Replace His Stolen Shoes
A teacher from Nebraska was left in tears after his kind students gathered money so they could replace his stolen shoes.
2 weeks ago, a pair of basketball shoes that were owned by Trey Payne, a teacher at the Logan middle school teacher, was stolen from his classroom.

On January 28, 2020, his class presented him with a replacement pair after pooling their money together.
In a heart-touching video that was posted at the Bellevue Public Schools’ official Facebook page, you can see the teaching receiving a red gift bag.
In the video, you can see the teacher reading a card before taking a look inside the bag.
He later pulled out a brown shoe box, which contained a pair of Nike Zoom KD12s.
In the video, you can hear Payne saying, “I hope this isn’t shoes, guys. Oh my. Are you serious?”
Payne can be seen removing his glasses, covering his face before he started to cry in the video.
In the video above, you can hear the students in the background getting emotional.
After things got emotional, the students rushed to give him a group hug.
In a statement that was released by the school, Payne said, “It’s more than a pair of shoes. It’s about doing things to build everyone up around you.”
He added, “I try to show my kids this and I think the lesson has sunk in for many, in turn, reaffirming my purpose and my ideals.”
Payne is a teacher for Grade 8 students and the basketball coach of the school.
