Mysterious Black Rain Caught Falling In Japan After Lightning Storm

A couple of days after a lightning storm hit the city of Tokyo in Japan, citizens from different parts of Japan experienced a mysterious black rainfall.

According to reports, the rain is not radioactive.

Experts in Japan are currently trying to find out what caused the color of the rain to turn black.

Images of the black rain were seen on the top of cars and roads.

The images were shared on social media, and people all over the world were baffled with the fact that black rain was seen in Japan.

The black-colored rainwater was reported to the authorities by those people that were living in several wards across Japan’s Saitama Prefecture on March 2, 2020.

Most of the reports originated from Hasuda, a city in Japan, but according to SoraNews24, other affected areas include Iwatsuki, Kuki, and Ageo.

Officials from the Hasuda City have issued a statement announcing that they are currently looking into the matter, after receiving various complaints of black puddles on roads and on cars.

After measuring levels of radiation levels, authorities find out that there was nothing wrong with the levels.

Black Rain is usually regarded to be a sinister omen in Japan.

It was first spotted after the catastrophic atomic bombing attacks on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

Some social media users in Japan shared images of the black rain, expressing serious concern.

There is no official confirmed cause of the rain, but it is believed that a recent fire at a plastics factory in Noda, within the neighboring prefecture of Chiba, could have led to smoke mixing with the dye, creating the dark black color of the rain.

As of now, there has been no official confirmation as to whether this rain has been colored due to the factory fire.
