Newborn Baby Rushed To Hospital After Being Shot In The Chest By Mother’s Boyfriend

A newborn baby was rushed to a hospital in San Antonio, USA, after he was shot by his mother’s 19-year-old boyfriend in the chest.

The incident happened last week, and it has been 1 week since the boy has been clinging on life support.

Armani Cazares, the newborn, was shot by his mother’s 19-year-old boyfriend, said the San Antonio Police.

Baby Armani has suffered injuries to his lungs, shattered vertebrae, and has brain damage due to lack of oxygen.

Daisy Delacruz, the 18-year-old mother of Armani, said:

“It’s a nightmare. My son was here and now he’s not. Now the doctors are telling me he’s not going to make it. That there’s no hope. That he’s practically brain dead.”

Lance Tello Jr., the 19-year-old boyfriend of Daisy, is also accused of shooting his own mother and 14-year-old sister.

Talking about her boyfriend, Daisy said:

“I was angry at him, and then my anger just turned into sadness because I loved him. And I thought he loved me and my son. He just flipped. He was normal and then he just turned into someone else.”

The 2 started to go out when Daisy was 4 months pregnant.

Lance is not the biological father of Armani, but he acted like a father to the newborn baby.

During an interview with the local press, she said that Lance just flipped in the bedroom of Armani in the early hours of Saturday.

He was reportedly feeling stressed at work.

During the interview, Daisy said:

“He stared at himself in the mirror for about a minute or two. I then see him reach in between the mattresses and I see him pull out a gun. He has no emotion in his face, he’s just looking at me with this evil look. And he’s looking at my baby, and I’m telling him, ‘You’re not going to shoot my baby.’ But before I could push him away from me, the gun goes off. And then I’m deaf. And then I turn around and I see my son. My son is on the floor and he’s turning blue.”

Lance is currently being held in prison bonds set at a combined $500,000.
