71-year-old Robert Trump, the younger brother of Donald Trump, has died at the age of 71.
President Donald Trump released a statement about the death of his “best friend”, his younger brother on Saturday.
He said:
It is with [a] heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight.
The president had visited his brother in a hospital in New York the day before he died.
The official death cause of Robert Trump was not shared with the public.
President Trump said that Robert was just not his brother, but he was his best friend too.
He added:
His memory will live on in my heart forever. He will be deeply missed by our entire family.
Robert was the youngest son of Fred and Mary Anne Trump’s 5 children.
He was born 2 years after the birth of Donald Trump, the current President of the United States of America.
Fred Jr. the eldest of the children, died in 1981.
According to a report, Robert Trump spent over a 122k in the ICU of the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan in June this year.
A friend of the Trump family said they Robert had experienced brain bleeds after a recent fall.
Robert spent most of his life with the family real-estate firm and eventually became a top executive.
