Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the 529 vacancies of various trades including Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Electrician etc. Notification for the same was made public on 29th August and candidates want to apply for any of the trades can submit their applications on or before 13th September. After registration procedure, list of shortlisted candidates (for certificate verification) would be released on 17th September.

Eligibility Criteria

For Fitter, Electrician, Draughtsman (Mechanical), Welder, Machinist, Turner, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Programme & System Administration Assistant, candidates must have passed the 10th class/ matriculation examination under 10+2 system of education with Science and Maths subject plus completed the one/ two year training in ITI in the respective trade.

For MLT Pathology: applicant must have passed 12th class examinations in the last three years with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.

For Plumber: applicant must have passed 8th class examination under 10+2 system or its equivalent and passed one year training in ITI in the trade and be eligible for the National Trade Certificate issued by NCTVT.

Age Limit: minimum age limit is 18 years and the candidate’s age should not be more than 27 years as on 13th October 2018. For SC/ ST candidates, age relaxation by five years is applicable and three years for the candidates belonging to OBC category. 10 years age relaxation is applicable for the physically handicapped persons. Candidates with knowledge of Tamil will be given more preference.
