TPSC Recruitment 2018: 177 Personal Assistant Post, Apply Now

Tripura Public Service Commission is about to fill 177 vacant posts of Personal Assistant Grade II (PA-II), Group C Non Gazetted under GA (P&T) Department, Govt. of Tripura. To be recruited as a personal assistant, candidates first need to fill the application form in the format prescribed in the notification. Candidates can fill out applications through both the modes – offline and online.

Offline applications forms can be acquired from all Branches/ Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank in the state of Tripura on deposit of the prescribed recruitment fee through the special deposit slip to the account No. 14711 in the favour of the Secretary, TPSC. The forms can also be downloaded from the official website fo the commission i.e. www.tpsc.gov.in. In that case, the recruitment fee is to be paid to the account No. 31176521319 of the State Bank of India in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission.

Candidates can apply online as well through tpsc.gov.in from 2nd September to 1st October (5:30 PM). Candidates need to register themselves through One Time Profile Registration on the commission’s website. A User ID would be generated then and sent to the applicant’s registered mobile number and email ID.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must have passed higher secondary or equivalent examination with at least 45 % marks or have passed the Madhyamik examination with Stenography Course from any ITI with 45% marks. The candidates shall have knowledge of operating a computer and a certificate from any government recognised institution of minimum duration of three months.

Age Limit: Interested candidate shall have completed the age of 18 to 40 years as on 1st October 2018. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for the SC/ ST candidates and govt. servants.

To select the suitable candidates, the commission will organise Preliminary Examination first followed by Type Writing of 100 marks and shorthand writing & transcription of 200 marks and main examination of 250 marks (Conventional Type Test). The preliminary exam will comprise of multiple choice questions. The exam would be divided into two parts – English and General studies. Both parts carry 50 marks. The time duration of two hours would be given to students to finish the examination.
