Villain Review Rating – Mohanlal Villain Malayalam Movie Review Public Response Updates
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is back again with the action crime thriller Villain. The film is written and directed by B. Unnikrishnan and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The film stars Mohanlal in the lead role, with Vishal, Manju Warrier, Raashi Khanna, Hansika Motwani and Srikanth appearing in prominent supporting roles. Manoj Paramahamsa was the cinematographer, film score was composed by Sushin Shyam. The villain is the first Indian film to be completely filmed and to be released in 8K resolution.
Vishal says a negative character was always on his bucket list. So, when director B Unnikrishnan approached him with the role of Shaktivel Palaniswamy in Villain, he instantly grabbed it. “I never thought I would be doing a Malayalam film, though I really wanted to. So, when the opportunity came, that too opposite Mohanlal, I didn’t want to miss out,” says the actor sharing his excitement.

Villain Movie Story:
A killer who is infamous for committing flawless crimes has become a nemesis for the police department. Unable to trap him, a retired cop is summoned to solve the case and a game of cat and mouse hunt ensues. In this film, Mohanlal plays an ex-cop and will be appearing in two different looks.
Raashi Khanna as Harshita Chopra, a cop, and Hansika as Shreya, a qualified doctor. Srikanth, as the “migrant villain”.

Director N Linguswamy of Paiyaa-fame took to Twitter to express his opinion of the multi-starrer emotional thriller.

Talking about Mohanlal’s performance, Unnikrishnan had recently said: “Mohanlal has acted in my four movies and I can undoubtedly claim that this is his best performance so far in my films. The way he portrayed the character Mathew Manjooran is a class act and truly international.
Unnikrishnan has shared a message sent by Thupparivaalan director Mysskin on the Mohanlal-starrer on Facebook.
