Watch: Suresh Raina’s Massive Six In Yesterday’s T20 Match Injures 6-Year-Old Boy

Indian all-rounder Suresh Raina made a great comeback in the recent T20I series against England. In the final decider at Bengaluru, Raina scored a brilliant half century to help India post 202 runs.

The Gujarat Lions’ captain was at his menacing best as he plundered England bowlers from the very first and smashed five massive sixes in his innings.

Once he got in, he was an unstoppable force as he was scoring runs at his will but one of the sixes hit by him went on to hit a six-year-old boy in the stands at Chinnaswamy stadium.

Luckily, the ball hit the boy on his left thigh and not on his head or neck, which could have led to a serious injury. Immediately, the boy was rushed to the KSCA medical center for first aid.

Satish was injured after one of Raina’s sixes landed on his left thigh. He was rushed to the Karnataka State Cricket Association’s medical centre at the stadium for treatment,” Dr Mathew Chandy told PTI.

He complained of minor pain. We gave him the first aid and after 10 minutes, he requested to be relieved to watch the rest of the match. We had to give in his demand,” the doctor said.

At last, the boy returned back to the stands to see the Indian team mounting up a total of 202 on the board and then crushing the visitors, who lost eight wickets for just eight runs.

Earlier in April 2012, a 10-year-old girl was hit in the face during an IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Pune Warriors. The girl was hit by RCB opener Chris Gayle, who went to meet the girl after match was completed.
