Aakash Chopra Brutally Slammed Rahul Dravid For Poor Performance Of Delhi Daredevils! Twitterati Bashed Him Back
Former Indian batsman and a present-day commentator, Aakash Chopra is ruling the field these days. A few cricketers played less but speak more about it. Aakash Chopra is one of them.
Aakash Chopra though has now had a change in his fortunes after joining Star Sports’ commentary team. He has been appreciated by many for his expert work in the comments box and analyzed reviews of the loved game.
But recently, Aakash Chopra blamed Rahul Dravid for the poor performance of Delhi Daredevils!
Yes, during the match between Delhi Daredevils and Gujarat lions on Wednesday night, it became a bit tough for the DD players batting line while chasing a mighty score of 195.
But all thanks to the deadly performance of Shreyas Iyer, who emerged as a winner in the last over the fight with Gujarat lions. Shreyas Iyer has shown a brilliant performance with 96 out of 57 balls with the help of 15 fours and 2 sixes. Though it was an amazing victory and everyone was in the mood of celebration.
Although it was an amazing victory and everyone was in the mood of celebration, the former cricketer Aakash was not happy with Rahul Dravid’s decision of going only with young campaigners and not choosing experienced ones.
Aakash took to twitter and wrote –
You get brilliance & inconsistency from youth. #DD rode on their brilliance but didn’t invest in experience to cover for their inconsistency

His post read, “You get brilliance & inconsistency from youth. #DD rode on their brilliance but didn’t invest in experience to cover for their inconsistency.”
As soon as his tweet came, it emerged with some mixed response from Twitterati. While some agreed to his point, others opted for disagreement.
One of them replied Aakash –
That’s what DRAVID believes in & experiments with- the Process of Growing Up for the youngsters important for him than the product-winning!

However, Aakash was quick to state that IPL is not just about helping the youngsters grow, but It’s about winning and losing.
Great thought sir. But #IPL is about winning and losing. https://t.co/8WdmKUUYev

True. Most of us forget that learning also includes winning. Professional competitiveness can only be taught by pushing them to win in real.
